All of our pieces are made with sterling silver, gold-filled, and vermeil, chosen for their durability, skin-safe properties, and long-lasting finish. We use real precious metals — never cheap plating over brass — so your jewelry keeps its color, feels comfortable on the skin, and is made to last.
Most inexpensive jewelry uses thin gold plating that can wear off quickly, often leading to tarnish, green skin, or irritation. We choose higher-quality materials that avoid all of that and are safe for everyday wear, even for sensitive skin.
Many of our designs are crafted with sterling silver, a solid precious metal known for its strength, brightness, and longevity. Unlike plated jewelry, sterling silver can be worn for years and polished to restore its original shine.
Our gold pieces are made with gold-filled components, which use a thick, pressure-bonded layer of real gold over a durable base metal. Gold-filled contains far more real gold than standard plating — often up to 100× thicker — allowing it to last for years without fading, tarnishing, or irritating the skin. It keeps its warm color, holds up to daily wear, and is naturally hypoallergenic.
We also use vermeil, a high-quality finish made with a thick layer of gold over solid silver. Vermeil offers the look of fine gold jewelry with excellent durability and a comfortable, skin-safe feel, without the fading and discoloration common with inexpensive plating.
Together, sterling silver, gold-filled, and vermeil create jewelry that is hypoallergenic, resistant to tarnish, and designed to be worn every day without turning your skin green or losing its finish. These are materials made to last — not just to look good for a few weeks.
